This home is one of the ten finest homes built in the “Greene and Greene” Craftsman Style anywhere in the United States in the last Century. POLO was charged with designing an oasis and a home where the owners could raise their three children and then still be happy there for the next phase of their lives. The attention to details found in this project is hardly ever seen today except, for a very few who are fortunate to contract POLO or a small number of nationally recognized architects and design build firms. Indeed, Mr. Rossmann told his clients that “if they did this project right”, they would be there for the next 40 years, raise their three children and be happy there thereafter, while continuously being stimulated and enamored with the beauty created both inside and outside of their home……. and, that they might buy a vacation home in Tuscany but they would never sell this home. After 14 years the owners did not buy a vacation home in Tuscany, they did add a shore house few years after completion of this magnificent home, and they continue to enjoy the Oasis that was created for them adding additional elements as they grow with the property.
