French Country Manor

The scope of the project included designing a French Country House incorporating sophisticated and timeless details, old-world plaster walls, French casement windows with hinged screens, ten foot ceilings, a proper fenced raised bed garden and appointments that would allow the owners to entertain one week out of each month within a gracious home. POLO was charged with developing an open plan on the public entertainment level, three Bedroom suites, two on the second floor and one in the bank house side of the residence overlooking the Secret Garden. There are numerous terraces for entertaining and a kitchen designed for a real cook with the added architectural element of a custom designed cooper hood above the gas range top and picture window bringing the beauty of specimen trees and gardens into view. After merely 18 months, this magnificently executed project was featured on a regional Kitchen and Gardens tour.
